About Me
I am currently a Senior Research Scientist in Computer Vision at Samsung Research America. I completed my PhD in Computer Engineering at Arizona State University in April 2025. My work sits at the intersection of computational imaging, camera pipelines, generative vision, and perception-aware restoration, with emphasis on building models that are both scientifically grounded and practical for real-world deployment.
At Samsung Research America, I develop foundation-model-based super-resolution systems for smartphone cameras within the Mobile Processor Innovation Lab, including DINOv2-conditioned diffusion pipelines, data curation workflows, and efficient model design for mobile deployment. My completed academic research at Arizona State University produced contributions in turbulence restoration, atmospheric degradation estimation, and depth-aware simulation, including DAATSim.
Current Focus
Samsung Research America
I currently work as a Senior Research Scientist in Computer Vision, building diffusion and foundation-model-based camera imaging systems for smartphone super-resolution, fidelity preservation, and deployment-aware restoration.
Computational Imaging Research
My PhD research centers on computational photography, atmospheric turbulence mitigation, long-range imaging, and physically grounded restoration for real-world scenes.
Recent Research Output
Recent work includes F2IDiff on real-world super-resolution foundation models for smartphone cameras and DAATSim on depth-aware atmospheric turbulence simulation for fast image rendering.
